My role in this project consisted in developing technical drawings of Conceptual phase. Together with the team, I participated in the development of volumetric concept and architectural decisions.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
"Reinvented Landscapes"
Amidst the Cerrado vegetation running free throughout the site, the embassy's implantation dialogues with the occupation of Costa Rica's territory, which is condensed into a small parcel of land, leaving nature's space free. The architecture surrounded by the extensive shades of green unfolds in two blocks, defined by the contact with the visitor: the first, positioned further south, for official activities of the embassy; the second, restricted to the ambassador's residence.
Each built space is interwoven with open areas of contact with light, ground, and sky that amplify the desire to engage with the outdoors in a way that dissolves traditional architectural boundaries. The rejection of the hardness of the trace reiterates the idea of Costa Rican diplomacy and society of equality among its citizens and social horizontality.
And as a memory of the country's territory, a new constellation of stones inhabits these spaces, such as the mysterious spheres found in Costa Rica that date back to the pre-Columbian era. The presence of these artifacts evokes a new clearing, a place of light, a gap.
